The firm

Since the founding of our law firm in 2009, the professional focus of Scherler + Siegenthaler Attorneys at Law has been on legal advice and litigation in the areas of construction, planning, award procedures (submissions), environment, transport and the engineering industry.

Dr Stefan Scherler and Dr Thomas Siegenthaler both are Certified Specialists SBA in Construction and Real Estate Law, and have been lecturers at the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich for many years. They regularly publish on construction, public procurement and transport law topics and give seminars to public authorities, associations and companies. They combine their academic and scientific background with many years of practical experience in legal counselling and litigation. Martina Schweizer is also a Certified Specialist SBA in Construction and Real Estate Law. She joined our firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2019. Thanks to her many years of work with the legal department of Zurich Public Transport (VBZ), Martina Schweizer brings a great deal of experience to our firm, particularly regarding legal support for planning approval procedures and infrastructure approval procedures. Manuela Leuzinger, with her experience as former head of building permits with a Zurich municipality, and Annina Rosada, as a former long-standing employee with the legal department of Zurich Public Transport (VBZ), bring a high level of mandate responsibility to our firm.
